#fabfaithfilledfirstladies Feature #10
Balancing life was such a hard thing for me–finding time to spend with the Father God, my husband and children, ministry, and work life. I had to seek God on showing me how to balance my life. The Holy Spirit gave me some instructions on what and how to do it. Thus far, it is working out for my good. To God be the Glory for what He has done.

Describe Your Role as a First Lady: First, I make sure that my Apostle is good in every area in his life. My role is in this order: God, husband, children, and the ministry. My role is to keep my husband lifted up in prayer at all times. As a Pastor’s wife, I feel in some ways that I am responsible for my husbands’ anointing. Prayer is always the key. I am the help mate to my husband in the ministry of the home as well as the church. We are a team! My role is to continue to follow the vision that God has given to my husband.
What is the best advice that you’ve been given about being a First Lady: Don’t try to be like anyone else. Be You! Be who God ordained you to be. Be confident, pray without ceasing. Have a voice always. Lastly, follow the leadership of Holy Ghost.
What is the biggest challenge that you face as First Lady: Staying focused on who God has called me to be. Also, balancing family, church, and Business.
On Saturday, one can usually find me…up early and at the salon making women even more beautiful than they already are. After work I’m usually at the mall or out to eat with my husband and children.
What’s Your Favorite Quote: “Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain. To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices. Today, I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.” By Kevyn Aucoin
What’s Your Favorite Scripture: I have 3 Favorites! Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God , that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Matthew 6:33 “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Roman 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Where do you see yourself in 5 years: In 5 years, I will still allow God to use me like never before. I will own a salon and I will write a series of spiritual warfare Books. The best is yet to come!
