It was a few Sundays back in church were my spirit was engulfed from a powerful word that came forth; my spirit was being fed with all sorts of thoughts and feelings from the heavy spirit filled words from my Pastor. I am thankful for the validity of the sermon and how it will play a vital part in my week ahead and my journey in life.
Within my spirit I was receiving these words, “THE ARM HAS POWER TOO.” Think about your arm for a moment. What power does your arm have? Where does the strength in your arm come from? How long or short is your arm? Now, that one has thought about their arm being a extension of their body, someone else maybe thinking about the word arm as a way of defending themselves. The questions that can come to mind could be,” What rights do I have to bear arms? What must I do to ward of danger? How do I keep myself and others out of harms way?”
My thought took me to the day of Resurrection when Jesus rose with all POWER in his hands. If you think about it, that same power was also in his arms. When were asking for comfort it is the Lord’s arms that embraces us, when we think were falling or getting weary it is the Lord’s arms that carries us, when our own arms are weakening from the weight of struggle the Lord will add strength to our arms.
The power that rests, rules, and abide in the arms of our Lord and Saviour will never weaken. The Lord will also stretch out and grabs us from all dangers and spoils.
Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: Exodus 6:6
The mighty hand and arm of the Lord works in our way lives as a spiritual compass, spiritual weapon, and they also act as our source of security.
“In his arms I feel protected.”
“In his arms I’m never misdirected”
“In his arms is the best place I’ve ever known”
