Understand that marriage will be consistent work. Look beyond the planning of the big day. By all means keep ALL of your business within your covenant, no one else needs to know your martial issues.
What is the biggest challenge that you’ve faced as a couple & how did you handle it? Experiencing infidelity was one of the biggest challenges that we’ve ever faced. We handled this situation through consistent prayer, forgiveness, re-commitment and communicating more effectively than ever.
What are your thoughts as a couple on being submissive? Being submissive is very important. Often times when people think of submissiveness, the first idea is that of a woman serving her husband but that is only a small part of submission. Being submissive first begins with both parties submitting themselves to God. As they submit to God, they can then submit to each other. To submit is to serve. In a marriage, both parties must agree to submit to each other. The man must commit and submit to his wife just as much as she submits to him. However, the husband is still the head and the wife must follow him and allow him to lead.
Marriage is a ministry so what would like others to glean from your marriage? We would like others to know that marriage carries many emotions. You will have happy times, sad moments, laughter and even frustrations, however, always know that with God as your head and your spouse to endure the ride with you, your marriage will be blissful!
