Nashville CAB Group Honoring and Celebrating Life This Holiday Season

The invaluable Vanderbilt HIV Clinical Trials Community Advisory Board (CAB) is based on the Vanderbilt 100 Oaks Campus (Nashville, TN) and Robbie Maris is a sincere “Pied Piper” for the group.
Robbie Maris is much more than a charismatic and knowledgeable Community Educator and Recruiter CAB program; he is a natural staunch leader who does what he does, with dedication passion and drive. During the month of December, 2014 there will be a series of informative events in honor of World AIDS Day on December 1st, 2014.
Segment 1: HIV Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow – Monday December 1, Noon-2:00 pm (CST) at East-Park Community Center, 600 Woodland Street in Nashville, Tennessee. Please join “Street Works”, “PROJECT COPE”, and “Meharry Community Wellness Center” for this event.
Segment 2: Artists for a World Without HIV – Monday December 1, 2014 at 7:00 pm (CST) at The Rutledge – 410 4th Ave. South, Nashville TN 37201. Please join Vic Sorrell, Chris Mitchel et al for this event.
Segment 3: World AIDS Day Candle Light Vigil and Procession – Monday December 1st, 7:00pm (CST) at “OutCentral” located at 1709 Church Street, Nashville, Tennessee. After walking to the bridge over I-65. Please join the Music City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for this event.
Segment 4: CAB Meeting – For their December CAB meeting, the group’s annual CAB dinner takes place at an undisclosed location to acknowledge and thank the service of the members on the Vanderbilt HIV Clinical Trials CAB.
At the CAB dinner, CAB members will bring non-perishable food items for the Covenant of the Cross food pantry as well as clothing items for Launch Pad – the Oasis Center LGBT Homeless Youth initiative; Launch Pad is always taking new socks and underwear, as well as gently used clothing items.
