She is a talented, phenomenal 12 time Grammy-nominated vocal powerhouse who has wowed fans ever since she came onto the scene. She’s earned a place in the pantheon of the best soul singers of her generation. Ledisi is a favorite of The Obamas and has performed eight times at the White House. Her fans include icons, legends and current chart-toppers like Prince, Patti LaBelle, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Kehlani and more. She has headlined two national sold-out tours, performed alongside Richie Sambora, Dave Matthews, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Jill Scott, Maxwell and many more. She’s appeared on nationally recognized shows like Good Morning America, HARRY, The David Letterman Show, The Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and VH-1’s Diva’s Live to name a few. About Melanie Fiona:
Melanie Fiona Hallim (born July 4, 1983), is widely known professionally as Melanie Fiona, is a Canadian R&B recording artist with Guyanese background. She was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She began her career in 2002 as part of a Canadian musical girl band trio X-Quisite that was nominated for “R&B/Soul Recording of the Year” for the band’s album X-Quisite. She went on to be part of The Renaissance (with rapper Drake), and under the name Syren Hall, recorded some reggae songs.
Hallim’s debut solo album The Bridge was released in 2009, having collaborated with Future Cut, Vada Nobles, Stereotypes, J. Phoenix and Peter Wade Keusch. Her debut single, “Give It to Me Right”, was sent to radio stations on February 28, 2009, and peaked at number 20 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart and number 41 on the UK Singles Chart. The second single, “It Kills Me”, became her breakout song on the Billboard Hot 100 where it entered the Top 50, along with topping the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The song earned Hallim a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. The song “Monday Morning” is her biggest hit in Europe to date. The American Singer, songwriter and Artist Charlene Keys was born January on 21, 1971. She is better known better known by the stage name of Tweet. She is the youngest child of Tom and Shirley Keys, Tweet was born in Rochester, New York on January 21, 1971 she grew up singing in the church alongside her parents and her four older siblings (three brothers, Tom, Cedric and Lonnie, and one sister, Sundra). Among them, the five children mastered instruments such as the piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, and many more.
As a young girl, Tweet was inspired not only by her family, but also by larger-than-life divas like Janet Jackson, Tina Turner,Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston (whom she later worked with). Tweet’s first steps into a career in the music industry first began when she enrolled in Rochester’s School of the Arts. In 1990, at the age of 18, Tweet gave birth to her daughter, Tashawna. She is a gospel singer.
