I once read a statement in an article from Pastor Jesse Duplantis that said, “I am a success on my way to succeed.” If you can believe that then you already know you are destined for greatness. Another way to confirm that you are destined for greatness is by knowing and having a personal, intimate relationship with the One that is “greater on the inside of you, than the one that is in the world.” God promised Abram in Genesis 12:1-3 NLT after leaving his native country, his relatives, and his father’s family the following: “I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on the earth will be blessed through you.” Do you know that blessing and promise is for both you and me!
Baby you have greatness all over you and inside of you. It doesn’t matter how great or not so great your parents were. It doesn’t matter whether those in your family did or did not mount to anything. It doesn’t matter what others have spoken over you, if you are born of the Lord then you are born to be great, why, because you were born into greatness. Great and mighty is our God, Glory!
It doesn’t matter how many past failures you’ve had; how many mistakes you’ve made; how many mishaps or missteps you’ve had; it doesn’t matter if your first, second, or even third business was a flop, if God called you to be great (and He did) because you belong to Him, then you will be just that. The Holy Spirit once told me the following, “just because it doesn’t look like God is working in the forefront doesn’t mean He’s not working in the background!” This truly blessed me because oftentimes we weigh our lives and the situations we encounter based on what we see in front of us or what has happened to us, but how many of you know God is a healer and a redeemer of lost times (lost blessings) If you are still living on this earth then know that what He has promised you is still yours’! You can still be all that God has called you to be and that is to be Great.
Don’t let the labeling of man, outweigh the calling of God on your life. Go ahead and give it a try and be GREAT, for you are destined for Greatness! Remember as 1 John 4:4 has told us “greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.”
